Installing Apple Magsafe charger for iPhone 12

For anyone that may be interested, I've recently installed an Apple MagSafe charger, using a OBD power cable, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a neat little magnetic phone mount. It was simple to install with the cables hidden behind the trim between the dash and driver's door. I'm also using a CARPLAY2air adapter with the factory fitted VW Discover Media Infotainment system. It's handy to have the phone on charge and in a visible position.

Have you hidden the Car2Play adapter too? They USB plug in the vehicle is in such an awkward position, I was thinking of doing what you did but also tucking the adapter into the glove box.

@vanology how are you getting on with the carplay 2 air adapter?? Do you get any lag when using sat nav apps and does it affect the sound quality when your playing music? Thanks Alan
