Workshop manual for the 4-cylinder common rail engine CXEB CXFA CXGA CXGB CXHA CXGC CXHBwww.t6forum.com
Curious why you need to remove it?
You need VIP Membership. Just follow the process for a small annual fee.seems I do not have permission to download the manuals? Any ideas?
Turn the engine by hand until both valves are closed on each port, they should hold solvent and definitely shouldn’t let carbon pass.ideally I’d like to clean the inlet ports, but I’m a little dubious about bits falling into the engine, some of it can be quite hard.
I don’t have the part numbers but somebody who does is going to ask which bolt?Hi, I replaced the intake manifold but lost a bolt. Does anyone have the part number or measurement?
It's not numbered in the catalog.
By the way, I managed to do them without removing the front radiator. It's not easy, but it can be done.
Thanks.

Are they all the same length. If so remove one, measure the diameter and length. You don't need special VW bolts, they probably have a flanged head if being used on plastic.Yes, sorry, the screws that attach the manifold to the block.

You don’t need to dismantle, just remove the screw with the easiest access.Indeed, they are of the same longitude. They have a 13mm hexagonal head, with 10-point internal end used usually by VW. But I don't remenber the length. And I have the van assembled, using every day, and I want to buy the screws before dismantling it again. Thank you in any case.
Then if no solution here give VW Parts Dept a call, they certainly know what it is.I'll try, but there's no screw that's easy to remove without disassembling, believe me.
