MIB2 PQ Discover Media - Infotainment mods, upgrade, FEC / SWaP

Great thread and awesome work by @Robert.

I was only thinking the other day how it would be great to be able to see what angle I was driving up!

Following this thread now. Had a look at mine today, I have some additional codes I've no idea what they are.

Installed codes:

00040100 - Navigation
09400008 - Map Europe
00050000 - Bluetooth
00300000 - USB

Supported codes (available for activation):

00040100 - (in both lists)
00050000 - (in both lists)
00060100 - Vehicle Interface
00060200 - Car-Net
00060300 - Mirror-link /App-Connect
00060400 - Performance Monitor/ Sport HMI
00060800 - Apple Car Play
00060900 - Android Auto
00070200 - Voice Control
07400012 - ???
08400002 - Map ???
09400003 - Map ???
0c400003 - ???

@Robert I seem to have 2 codes you dont and am missing the one below. Any ideas?

7400004 - Map ???

Who else has 60100 - Vehicle Interface on their installed code list?

I do. Is there a reason for asking?

Is the code 60100 - Vehicle Interface on your installed or supported list?

I already have off-road menu activated. Unit was from Amarok (PQ25) and CP was patched. I don’t have CAR menu tho

So most likely you have version 5C0035680D or higher? Possibly yours is G with software 0604?
With this versions OFFROAD INFORMATION menu entry is normally present in the infotainment main menu by default and it is not part of SWaP features platform. Plus you also have oil and coolant temperature there:thumbsup:.

Mine is 5C0035680C with software 0252 and things are not that obvious and easy then. I don't want to update the software as low software version has another bunch of advantages and gives much higher resell value;).

Would you mind to post your active & supported FEC/SWaP code list and your adaptation map? Also can you confirm your software version, please?

Yes its a G Revision, SW 0449

I beleive CAR function is possible to enable on C rev but not G, or at least it was last time I heard.

What else do you know is possible to activate? I dont think oil temp was an option in offroad info

Admap attached, although some channels may be different from what they were originally from me messing trying to activate things

Thanks for that mate!
Yes oil temperature can be displayed in OFFROAD INFORMATION menu and definitely on G units.
Would you mind to post your active & supported FEC/SWaP code list as well?

Sorry I meant “Coolant temp”

I’ll check out the list in the morning when I get in the van.

have you worked out anything else to activate?

Yes I saw it and got my attention:D
I guess activated from adaption channels?

It is a little bit tricky but yes adaptation is the key.
But, but, but I need someone to try and verify if active SWaP code 60100 is actually required(I am afraid it is a must).

Yes I did notice that, but USB works fine

Could you post your current admap?

What do you think 60100 is for?
