Increase seat back recline on RIB 130 bed

Hello

Has anyone looked at increasing how far back the seat back can recline on a RIB 130 bed(or other widths) so it's not quite so upright when it's in the seating position? (I know in the bed position you can raise and lower the back 3rd).

I've tried to work out what part of the mechanism prevents the seat back reclining more, but can't see how it could be changed.

Any ideas on how to do it would be great.

Thank you - Michael

Michael,
I wondered if you had any luck in altering the seat back angle?
Cheers
Ian

Any look with this? The back rests when travelling are just vertical, surely they can be adjusted.
Have you seen how solid that hinge is that holds the seatback up?
It's pretty chunky and sprung loaded, like a finger lopping mouse trap but looking how the hinge attaches to the bed rails with some chunky bright zinc bolts you might be able to "shim" the hinge front bolt and the two bolts at the back to alter this angle but then the "bed" will probably have a slight hump in it and the actual pull bar that controls the bed operation will be canted up too.

If you compare our Rib to the front seats, with the stock non reclining bench then here we drive around bolt upright on high alert looking for speed cameras, "Gangsta lean" hasn't made it here yet. 🥸
