We are currently camping in the van in Durness and the rear glass has been shattered in the strong winds somehow. Does anybody know of somebody that can get it replaced ASAP around Inverness perhaps? We are supposed to be away for another 10 days but looking unlikely.

Also just for reference it’s a VW T6 rear windscreen, no wiper
Autoglass will come out - Inverness is probably the nearest
Cheers @drinfinity. Tried them tonight but saying a long time to get one done. Going to ring around all the Inverness auto glass companies tomorrow and hope one can do it a bit quicker.
Just a sugestion for a temporary fix that might help you stay on the road;
Could you wrap a roll of cling film around your tailgate to form a reasonably watertight temp window?

Ah...one should always carry cling film when camping!

I have been going up there since the 70's and soon learnt to carry everything bar the kitchen sink. Admittedly haven't been up recently
Have you not called your insurance company to start a glass claim ?

Yea I suspect something carried in the wind and maybe an imperfection in the glass as they are usually hard things to smash. Got the van booked in Inverness on Wednesday and the boch fix should do us on the trip until then thanks fully winds have died down a bit
