So I collected my T6 Factory Kombi LWB DSG from Salop Vans 7 days ago, & have already amassed a large list of items that are yet to arrive through the post. The mods begain before even leaving Salop Vans.
I'm going to be converting to a camper, as you could probably guess, but, my 1st question(s) are based around the flooring...
There are a large number rof Kombi seat brackets that will.need removing, what's best to blank off the remaining holes? Aluminium foil tape?
Then for putting the ply inside, what does everyone do about these "9mm packers" that everyone mentions, do you just cut some marine ply to size & Sikaflex them in, or is there a kit to buy? & if/what insulation needs to go down before the ply? I have some sound deadening (black rubbery stuff) & some dodo mat shredded bottle type white fleece insulation, do I need any sort of membrane/foil/bubble wrap type stuff 1st? As the forum is full of so many threads....
