Hello from Sweden

They are so much nicer interior wise. But still.. Minimum twice the price here. Can allmost get airride, wheels and lots of other stuf and still come out less than t6
As some may say on here... its only money, you won't regret a T6! Newer nicer and never ending place to spend more money with a better foundation!

Hi!

Building my T6 into a campervan for travelling next summer! Made a bunch of sketches and the layout has pretty much been decided on.

Named him Tommy, after my dad, who was a massive collector of VW toy cars and the nicest person I've ever known. As a child, in the eighties, I rode around the north of Sweden in his VW pickup selling records at marketplaces.
He would absolutely love this idea!

Bought my van a year ago, not cheap, for the high mileage, but properly taken care of, lwb and two sliding door w windows seemed perfect for me.

Thanks for letting me in this group!

Hi Tess, welcome to the forum. We drove around Stockholm last year in our T6, which was mad, on our way up the E4 to Lofoten… you live in a beautiful country and have adventure on your doorstep, very envious!
Look forward to reading about your van life.
Great pics btw!

Fantastic! That sign has the town my dad lived in "Härnösand", what a coincident! I agree, the landscape in Norrland is very beatiful. But distances are vast and mosquitoes are thirsty! I like to go to Gotland, more sun and nice beaches.

I spent some time around Devon growing up because my stepdad is from there and I remember travelling around, the landscape was so beautiful!
I remember visiting a pier, I think it was in Weston-super-Mare, there was a game with coins pushing down on different levels, I loved those! It be nice to go back and visit gardens around the UK. I am so envious of the climate you got, because I am an aloment gardener.

Thanks for welcoming me! :)
