Heated windshield washers installed?

Hello all.
First. English is not my native language. So I hope you understand me.

I have a question.
It has been cold here in Holland the last few days.
The windshield washers were frozen.
If all is well, the nozzles should be heated.

Does anyone know how I can check that?

Your English is perfect.
If they are heated you should be able to see electrical wires running to them.

Heated washer jets vans have 2 connections into the bonnet by the right bonnet hinge (standing at the front looking back). One is the washer fluid which all vans have, the other is the wire for heated jets.

if you have a low washer fluid light, then your washer jets should be heated. If you don't they're not!

Not true in the UK. I have Highline T6 with LED headlights and headlight washers which has a low washer water warning in the dash but DOES NOT have heated washer jets for the windscreen.

PS neither does the Beetle.;)

Oh. Sorry. Ok specing new 6.1....... Can only choose heated washer jets with level warming. Can't have one without the other!
Almost certainly not true of all vehicles, so apologies for stupid post.
I have found heated jets to be a bit crap on other cars. I thought they'd spray an ice melting hot jet on the windscreen in icy conditions, but this was never the case.

All they do is heat the jets to stop the water that's left in them from freezing.

It was more of an issue in the old days when washers were mounted on top of the bonnet.

See this thread for a photo (like @Littleblackflash is referring to) and more info.
