HDC never worked.

I just remembered about HDC, It has never worked as far as I know.
Is it possible it is something wrong with the coding from factory?
No error codes, nothing happens whenever i push the button.
Of course I don't use it often so it doesn't affect my driving at all.
Is this something VCDS can fix?
Have an software update, 245Hp and more torque. But if i change back to original file and still nothing.
Anyone have an idea?

I think the coding for it is mainly in the ABS module but i assume other modules need to know its installed, cant see it being a factory coding error
I dont have it so not sure what the requisites are for it too engage ?

So, in Norway near Alta is the only place i know I can use it? Only 2000km away

Well that's interesting - my Audi has this, and similarly pressing the button when going down (IMO) a steep slope has absolutely zilch effect. Now I know why.
