Glued Ply Floor removal

Hi all,

I am starting my firt project - a T6 from 2016. Prviously owned by a gas installation company. I got to removing the previously installed plywood flooring, but find that it seems to be glued onto the corrugated base of the van (glues only to the raised parts of the corrugate). I wondered if anyone has some experience they would like to share on how best to remove this floor? Or even if I should remove it at all? The main reasons for removing would be to place insulation, check for any rust which needs to be seen to, and for cleaning. But the van is in excellent condition so I don't suspect rust. Maybe I am better off just laying a thinner floor on top of it?
Thanks in advance :)

I know this is an old thread but I am in an almost identical situation (except I don't have the choice; a mobiframe floor is going in so I have to remove the old one!)

Did you try removing the floor - and how did it go?

Depending on glue you may need a power scraper or similar
Sds with wide tile removal blade may help
If crap adhesive might be easy peasy but I do know people that have spent good day on it.
You probably won’t know until you get stuck in.
Good luck everything is doable
