Front Wipers Failing

My wipers have more or less given up and I think its most likely the motor?
If I spray water onto the front screen they don't wipe automatically, however if I switch them onto full power, after several seconds they start moving, but stick at times and then its a matter of stopping them at the bottom as the auto finish position can't be achieved.

Any ideas - is it a new/replacement motor job?

The wiper assembly is fairly easy to remove once you take the grille off, getting the strip at the bottom of the screen off without damaging it is the hardest part, I'd be tempted to do a remove, strip down and reassemble with a good clean up and lube before looking for a replacement.

If it’s a similar design to Audi the arm rotor bushes dry out due to poor sealing. Try cleaning and re-greasing first.
