So i saw this the other day and had to try it out......
I've spent ages trying to retrieve pens/jobsheets/photos/tea stirrers/sugar sachets anything that gets lost down the gap between the window and dash..... before on the T5 i made up a black foam rubber long strip that i could wedge in the gap to stop loosing stuff down the mystical dash void of doom...........
Now onto the T6 and it seems VW have decided that there were going to copy my idea (not realey) by doing the same foam rubber thing ...... but just over the VIN number bit! . . . . they obviuosly were peed off having to dig through the junk on the dash to get to the vin number.......
Over to Ebay i go to get me a new foam strip and come across this little gem . . . . .
seems to fit perfectly . . . . .
but a bit long so i cut it down . . .
and there we have it . . . . job done. a simple fix and very effective.
