There is an art to refitting the door card... Very satisfying when you crack it... Doors make a nice thunk when done...

Right, so I've fitted a dash cam and successfully pulled things apart and put them back together again so..... Now I'm fancying taking the door cards off and fitting some new speakers and applying a touch of Silent coat or similar. Any tips please.

Would you recommend applying the sound deadening to both the door skin and for card?

I've just done this... I applied just to door skin and egg box foam behind the woofer speaker... Makes a great difference... Didnt think to do door card also as its the tinny metal sound you want rid of.. Place clips onto door card when refitting
