Great results.So in the end this turned out to not be the crank shaft seal after all, but the sump seal, which they have now resealed.
This is great, as it means I still have a years warrenty on the crank shaft seal I paid towards last year.
It's obviously just a shame it was diagnosed wrong in the first place as it's caused a lot of anger and upset that could have been avoided. The guy who looked at it this time, immediately knew it wasn't the crank shaft again.
It's fairly easy to see where the leak is once all clean.
The MCS seal sits on top of sump....
So if the leak is on top.... It's the seal.
If below .... It's the sump.
