Front Assist Not Available

Mines been off all this year. Went off when I was in a traffic jam in rain.
It done the same before Christmas but came on after a few minutes.
Need to book it in at the Dealer

I had the same problem after buying my 17 plate t6 start line.
The previous owner had installed a speed limiter and when I got it checked out, they told me that in order to fit an after market limiter they have disabled a lesser needed sensor (in this case the front assist). This might be common practice

My main dealer reset it after it “glitched”
Been all ok since.

I changed the Instrument Cluster to a different K-value (resulting in a slightly smaller wheel circumference but a more accurate speedo reading) and the “Front Assist not available” message has gone.

i have experienced the same issue. Put 245/65R17 tyres on which have a circumference of 2357mm (K1). Front Assist does not like that value but is happy with 2275mm (K-2). As both values result in the speedo reading above gps (2-3mph), I have opted to stick at K2 and keep Front Assist happy.

cant find away to get Front Assist to recal via VCDS on my 2019 T6 as there is no A5 module which is where i believe you can do so.
