Dash lit up for xmas - Engine faults

Glad tidings to all. Hoping for some insight/pointers.

Just in time for xmas, last night my dashboard decided to get in the spirit and lit up with the engine warning light solid orange and the glow plug light flashing. The MFD also reported Front assist error and start/stop error. Managed to limp home and this morning did a VCDS scan. It's reporting a whole host of errors. Can anyone see an obvious single cause? Could it just be a faulty sensor or something more ominous?

Battery voltages are all over the place so im guessing some are historical but would guess thats prob the root cause of a lot of those

What age is the van ?
I would get your main battery fully charged (or replaced if its the original that a few years old) then clear all the codes and start again, you only need to worry about ines that come back after

Thanks Pauly. It’s a 2018 van. Battery is about 6 months old so surprising it’s like that although it has had infrequent use recently.

Makes me wonder if there is a short or drain somewhere.

There look to be a few faults referencing a brake pedal sensor?
 
A low battery can throw up all sorts of errors. Definitely get it fully charged with a battery charger or long run, then see what happens.

Thanks. I put it on a deep charge last night and cleared the faults but the following ones just keep coming back instantly.

Took it to Streetwise automotive today in Bristol and they recommended that it needs to go to a VW dealer.

Gave Heritage VW in Bristol a call and they said the earliest they can look at it is March!

Not quite sure what to do now.
 
Looks like you still have a flat battery !
I would get that battery checked and make sure it is fully charged, if you only have a little charger they can take a surprisingly long time to charge but 12.1V on your scan is not right
 
So it has been a bit of a saga and took a while but it looks like the issue is with the ECU. Apparently all the sensors that are reporting faults lead back to a single pin on the ECU which when tested has zero current. The sensors themselves when tested in isolation are working fine.

The garage were not able to find anything that may have caused it to die so I'm hoping that a new one will not suffer the same fate. They should have the new part in a few days so fingers crossed it is indeed the problem...
