FOXYGEN LifePO4 Leisure Batteys - NEW PRODUCT -

@skyliner that’s what I was thinking. I was wondering if the 300 would fit under the driver’s seat. Didn’t have time to research though.

Well, height wise the Roamer seatbase is 182mm (and it has the little cut out bit for the terminals, and its a tight fit height wise. The 300 in this is 190mm (bigger by 8mm) so my guess will be, unfortunately, no.

The word is:

No integration yet, they said you could add a smart shunt along with the cerbo but they are adding it.

So an option for the future.
I have a smart shunt. And it is still pissing me off that the intigration with ROAMER and Victron doesn’t work properly.

The Gen4 Roamer have built in integration. (As does the Fogstar Drift Pro, but no Sb230 option!)

The previous generation you need to use an externL shunt and use that to get datema into Victron.

It's the same with these Foxygen.... External smart shunt needed for Cerbo gx integration.

.....

External stunts will always be a bit off as they didn't account for the battery internal BMS power draw.... So the readings will drift a small bit.... But not a problem if the battery is charged regularly, as the battery BMS and shunt will reset to 100% soc.

I have a ROAMER gen4 seat base battery. I’ve even been to ROAMER HQ. They did all the settings and it’s still not working. :(

My setup works fine, what's the problem you're having?

(Fwiw - I had to go into the Roamer battery and change the can protocol. And also go into the cerbo GX settings and again set the can protocol and baud rate... I also had to set the Roamer battery addresses as Id1 and id2)

But everything works as expected. Including alarms.

To be honest it’s a long time since I looked. It’s something to do with state of charge caring displayed from the smart shunt rather that the inaccurate ROAMER one. At the moment all my electrics are out of the van.
