Not VW related but Auto security all the same....

It's a shocking state of affairs and situation when Fords security system has blatantly been compromised...... and are not doing anything about it.
100s of car going missing in essex alone, let alone around the country.
Having had the same problem and theft of out last BMW 520 by rf key cloaning... not keyless entry like the Fords
.... but still!!!!
What are the Motor companies doing about it?...... nothing.
I called BMW to raise a complaint and was directed to my insurance company.....your insured... what's your problem type thing.
When will motor manufacturers be bought to task about there security tech and be made to keep patches or updates or hardware upgrades to stop this type of problem...moving forwards....
What's the point in a 10year warranty when the security is comprised within months.....
Lucky us T6 owners have a physical key with no rf stuff...
For everyone else, get a ghost and steering wheel lock.
