Five days to go...

We've had intermittent boot auto latch failure for the whole trip; last three nights we've had to rest the boot on a towel so it doesn't randomly latch and unlatch in the night. Also sounds the boot open alarm the whole time we drive it; it's very annoying!

Just ran out of gas on the last cup of coffee on the last day; amazing timing! A quick blast with the camping stove and I'm caffeinated up.
Cloudy here but still warm; hearing reports from friends in Granada (pretty much guaranteed mega hot in Summer) of heavy rain and nasty storms; think we've been pretty lucky overall.
Anyway off to Santander; found a nice looking restaurant for lunch, we'll do the essential booze buying and the even more essential stop at Decathlon.
Hoping our house has been left in an acceptable state (rented it out to friends of friends for two weeks), the lawn isn't a jungle with all the rain and looking forward to a more proper bed, a nearby bathroom and a bit of driving in the BM and Subaru!

Last night was gorgeous; Super still, warm, crickets/cicadas chirruping and that tranquil feeling you only seem to get in mountains.
