Fitting T6 Heated seat in to T5

Hi,
Can't seem to find anything specific on the forums for fitting a T6 Heated captain seat in to a 2007 T5.

I've had the seat fitted for a while and now winter is coming would like to wire up the heated seat element.

From what I gather, it is tricky to do this via the dashboard switch / VCDS method. So does anyone know an aftermarket switch kit that will work on the genuine T6 Heated seats? I don't mind if the switch has to be mounted on the side of the seat.

Someone must have done this?

I did read that, but it's for a T5.1, and those wiring looms they refer to are different from the older T5
