Fiamma F45 v F35 material

Does anybody conclusively know whether the F45 material is the same as the F35 , I have read in 1 item description the F35 is water resistant in light rain . Also while I am asking I keep seeing "left hand drive " versions does it actually make a difference if used with UK spec adapters?

Can't answer the material question but I am sure the difference between LHD & RHD is which end the winder is operated.

Ok , and does that make any operational difference (serious question ) ?.

Prefer the smaller F35 profile if honest and can’t to my mind see any issue with what side it is?.

Does not make any operational difference. Convention puts the winder at the rear of the van. It would be more protected from weather/debris than on the leading edge. I had an F45s with the winder at the front with no problems on my previous van.
