Fiamma Awning Brackets

Hi

Has anyone used anything other than Sikaflex 252 between the bracket and the edge of the roof? Sikaflex seems a bit messy especially if too much is used.

i just used a strip of rubber gasket material from work cut to size and slid under on my t5 with low brackets f45s. Didnt fancy the sikaflex either, still driving around the town with the same rubber in 6 years later
