Electric mirrors

Hi all
I'm after some advice my basic spec t6 has heated and adjustable mirrors with manual fold back, the problem I'm having is the nearside heats up nicely the driver side doesn't really heat up and neither will adjust the glass, I'm thinking it's the controller in the cab I've taken it apart to see if waters got into it but looked all ok, I'm not great with electrics so not sure how to check it,
Is it time to buy a new switch?

from the reading I've done on here (neither of mine work) the elements on the back of the mirrors fail.

If you pull the glass off you can meter the wires and see if it's getting power. If the motors and heated mirror are not working then I suspect it could be something more. The mirror loom passes through the door bellows and connects under the dash. I'd check this is ok. If the mirror on the other side is OK then I doubt it's the switch
