Hi all,

I am picking up my new t6 in couple of weeks and would like to lower approx 50mm. Anyone have experience with these springs from raceline how does van ride . Is it harsh ride .Dont really want to spend on b14 if I can just replace springs .
Thanks for any advice or experience.

I asked the same question and read though the threads. Most I'm afraid say the ride quality suffers quite a lot with just springs. That was my first choice to save money but I've resigned my self to a full b14 set up.
By the way any one want to buy a second hand kidney ;)

I too have been reading through old threads and seems to be mixed views.I have had cheaper coil over before and wanted to avoid any knocking issues. Seems even with b14 fitted few people having issues so not sure what route to take .

Having tried both.........the b14’s are really worth the investment. As most people say, they really do transform the vans

I think there have been a few isolated issues of faulty units causing some problems I know Oli @BognorMotors mentioned it at some point in the past but seems to be sorted now and replacements cured it for the ones that suffered, B14s on the whole I think are up there on quality

It's not just a choice of "springs" or "B14s", there are other options as well.
The B14 are a spring and a damper together and they are adjustable.

If you don't need adjustability, you can get a spring and damper that is non-adjustable called a B12.

The B12's are a combination of a B8 damper with a spring - usually a 30mm Eibach spring - but you could use the B8 with a 40mm or 50mm spring as well.

We’ve had a couple of isolated issues with the rear shocks knocking on T32’s and are working with Bilstein, on a cure. But on the whole they are excellent, and we fit approximately 2 sets a week. Since we started fitted the B14’s we have looked no where else, as we feel this is the best setup available with out spending a bundle more money on air or KW. The H&R ARB’s are a great addition to either standard or upgraded suspension.
