Dear All,
Any help with the following would be appreciated. I have a 2016 T6 180 BTdi DSG with CFCA engine. My wife was out in it all day on Tuesday this week. After shopping, she got back in and it refused to start. The engine was hot and battery fully charged. She waited for an hour before I got there to have a look but when I tried it, it started straight up. I did a quick scan and got the below new DTC which seems to point towards an ECU issue. Reading around the web, I can see there are quite a few cases of this ECU failing and some places offering repairs or clones.
My dilemma is: Is this a one off? If it happens again, I will need to get a clone made while it is still hopefully functioning enough to log-into and clone. Other wise, it will probably be a VW job which someone on here posted about costing £1900 and several weeks. Or do I just get a clone made now and wait for the old one to fail completely? There is a place in Cornwall offering 2nd hand ECUs cloned if you send them your old functioning unit.
OBD11 read-out below. The date is interesting and not sure if that's any indication of error/crash related to the DTC.
