DTUK Pedal Box - a review...

So I thought I would answer my own earlier question - what are the benefits of the DTUK Pedal Box?

My van is a 2017 T6 T32 SWB Kombi 150 with manual box.

This is what you get for your money:

Installation is a case of unplugging the wiring harness at the top of the throttle pedal assembly and plugging in the two Pedal Box elements.
After some careful wire routing (and securing) I ended up with this:

Now I'm not going to give any 'first impressions' - I want to use it for a decent stretch before I give my thoughts.

So watch this space....

Any update on how this is going for you?

Very well - I am really pleased with the difference it makes to the drive.
I find I can now drive the van much more smoothly as I get the response I want from the throttle when I want it, rather than being frustrated by the tardy throttle.
I would thoroughly recommend it based on my experience so far.

Awesome sounds good. Do you find yourself changing modes much for different driving scenarios or just leaving it in one mode? I'm thinking if I don't need to change it much, I could hide it out of sight.

I tend to leave it on one of the 'lower' modes.

I'm seriously thinking of shelling out for one of these.

Two years on. I wonder if you could give me a brief update on how it's behaving please?

Apologies - late reply.
No issues at all and I would definitely buy again.
Vehicles seem to be designed with in-built nanny features, and tardy throttle response seems to fall into this category.
The Pedal Box just makes the van much nicer to drive because I can get the throttle response I want, when I want it.
Simple to fit and no down-side.

Thanks. I did get one in the end. 1st trip out over the weekend with it fitted. I concur with your findings. Throttle much more responsive. Hoping this will help in getting up and down the Alps next month.

I'm driving a T6.1 and found the connection fitting not as tight as I'd like. Finished up strapping the connections together with zip ties. Didn't fancy the thing popping off whilst driving up some steep hill :(

It will help enormously - being able to get an immediate response from the throttle when changing down on hills is a definite benefit.
Have seriously considered putting one on my wife's 520D but not got around to it yet.
