DSG Service cost

Have just been quoted £285 + vat to service the seven speed DSG gearbox on my 2016 caravelle. Just wondering if that seems reasonable as never had one done before. I’m in Nottingham If anyone has any recommendations for anyone cheaper. Thanks

Out of curiosity as we're potentially looking to offer this as a service. Are you guys getting prices on genuine oil because if so you're getting it cheaper than trade and would make it not viable.

@Dav-Tec had mine done in January this year at main dealer- oil £107.69,washer £2.68,washer £2.68 and labour £96.85. All + vat (My van’s a T6.1 t32 Kombi 199).

That’s all they listed on the invoice so if they did they didn’t charge for it!!

Edit to this, the price was for a 6 speed. Was £260 in the end for my 7 speed.

Blimey. I paid a shade over £200 6 months ago at a VW/German specialist.

The I got mine done for £272 at an Indy inc parts. Oil, filter + sealing ring was £163 from TPS.
