Great job @Pugsley - what aspect of them aren't you 100% happy with?

I used the old ply lining that protected the door so they aren`t quite perfectly fitted near the handles. I suppose I`m being over critical because I`ve made them on the cheap. Total cost was £58.

Finally done the barn doors. All shades complete.

Both of them are finished now. They`re not perfect but for the cost I`m more than happy. Much better than my other option of curtains. Just got to do the rear door blinds now.

They are the 60cm ones I think. Smallest ones they do.

Yes I did. Lots of test fits too before carpeting.

3 screws on each and cut off the end of the screw that was sticking through the other side.

Kicking up an old thread. I’ve pretty much copied what you’ve done but I’ve got standard VW sliding windows. When I go to fit the built frame up with the ikea blinds they stick out too much and catch when opening the sliding doors. Any hints or tips?

How much gap have you got between the window and the blind. I made the gap as tight as possible (with window open) in order to clear the door.

I can’t see away around fitting it at the moment. The blind casing sits on top the window fittings. There is no gap between the two.
