Just thought I’d give a shout to a supplier of handmade fitted Campervan window blinds
Wanderbug (Becki Shipley) @ Wanderbug
I was hunting high and low for interior blinds for my LWB high top 5.1 Bus, yes I looked at the usual well known suppliers etc, but for various reasons such as, I didn’t fancy smacking tech screws through my bodywork, or blinds that sort of didn’t fit properly.
And no one seemed to do a satisfactory solution for the high top barn doors, which have slightly larger windows !!
Then I came across Wanderbug, Becki was so helpful, and meticulous in discussing materials patterns and options “including different edge binding colours, I can’t recommend her services highly enough.,
Her blinds fit superbly, and the binding edges have strong magnets sewn inside of the edging, the magnets stick to the metal window surrounds, even through one layer of carpet lining.
She does a full range of vans, all the usuals Transporters, Crafters, Mercs etc
Usual disclaimer, no connection apart from a very very satisfied customer, my blinds are burnt orange tweed on the rear windows, and front windscreen, and Misty Forest for all my side windows.
The blinds are made up of 4 layers, waterproof blackout material against the window, internally is a layer foil bubble wrap, and a layer white thermal lining, finished off with the interior material.
Quality comes at what I think is a reasonable cost for the work to make them, and fitment is superb
One happy Bus Driver
** yes my rear doors still need lining !
