You can fit any unit into your van then pay someone for the crack/hack/activation whatever you want to call, very simple, takes around half hour and will be fully working, for what it costs its the simple approach

You are referring to the old way of dealing with CP. Soldering special board that resets internal timer of DM plus special CAN filter to block communication with the IC. This was to avoid CP getting triggered and displaying the message.

Now you can patch the unit at any stage regardless of CP message being displayed or not.

i ask hier....i instal in T6 discover media PQ. but i got a problem with PDC. first time when i start a car show in 5F...but then second one doesnt show any more....is it possible something with coding? anyoone have this problem what i have to code for this to work all the time? 5F or 10?

Well it's been 4 years since I last posted this thread but now I'm finally going ahead swapping the composition media for the discover media but the first stumbling block is I don't seem to have the blue GPS plug in my radio loom.
Does anyone know if I'll have the GPS arial in the mirror and how I might connect to it?

If you don't have a blue plug, there's probably no antenna in the mirror. You can buy an antenna https://allegro.pl/oferta/antena-fa...3-bba7-98124da6ae25&utm_content=08c0e20891c8# You do not need to mount it in the mirror, it can be e.g. on the right side of the bumper, just behind the plastics. Opening the mirror cover usually ends up damaging the plastic snaps.

Check inside the door card and you should see the blue connector hanging there, its one of the very few items VW seem to (used to) fit that wasnt used
If the plug is there you just need an extension fakra cable to get it to the headunit

Happy days. Plug is there. 5M fakra female to female cable run from the door through to the HU and jobs a good 'un.
