No need to connect that purple, the black box produces 12v when reverse is selected, so connect the cameras red wire to the red on the loom, ground camera, job done after coding

Should the 12v be produced regardless of the coding do you know? I think i have the correct coding via obdeleven (correct screen etc when reverse selected but no picture) but theres no 12v from the red cable which explains why theres no picture... another source has told me this indicates a wiring problem as ACC power isnt coded?

If you have the same interface on the first post then the red should give 12v when the ignition is turn on. Not affected by coding.

So if no 12v on the red wire sounds like a fault with it
