Dashcam SD issue

I have a Saker F+R Dashcam, which came with a 32G SD Card. I've been able to view footage.

To extend the recording loop, I bought a 512g card. I've just tried to look at some footage, however every file is blank with no running time, even though each one is 1.31g in size. Have tried using VLC and Elmedia (I use a Mac).

Any thoughts?

Hi Brian,
Welcome to the Forum.
It might be a Filesystem problem. I don't know Saker ( Sacher makes pretty good cakes in Vienna ;) ) but your 32GB one would probably be formatted in FAT32.
Your 512GB possibly is formatted under NTFS or comparable Linux ones.
So there is the possibility that your camera was unable to correctly write on it and you lost the content.
32GB is about the limit (I do not remember where the exact limit is) where you will switch from FAT32 to some more advanced FS.

Just my 2c
