Afternoon all,
My friends asked me to try and help him with his T6 Infotainment System and his Android Auto.
As of a few weeks ago, his Android phone is spitting up an Error Code 8 when connecting to Android Auto over cable, "Your car's software didn't pass Android Auto checks".
I've tried the usual internet stuff such as manually changing time, his unit doesn't have a change date option. Have tried connecting his unit to a WIFI and trying to update online but doesn't seem to do anything in order to be able to get an update so was wondering if there was a PC / SD Card method. Can't really make head nor tail of VW's website and whether I can get these or not.
