Hi, vans looking good, quick question re the RGA trims.....Will they fit over any form of sound proofing or are they such a good fit that its straight onto factory metalwork only? I have sound proofed a fair bit of my van but not done the wheel arches yet for this very reason just in case.

Thank you buddy, regarding the mouldings I am going to say that there is going to to be fitment issues if fitting over sound proof arches etc.
Honestly, the fitment is perfect with next to no adjustments I'm afraid.

Hi, thanks for quick reply. I'm glad I held off from sound proofing my arches then and being such a good fit will probably make them more durable as any knocks will be less likely to damage the plastic than if there was a slight void under them. Although not cheap I'm looking at them as being sort of sacrificial as if they get damaged or scruffy in the future then I imagine they will be easier to change than replacing damaged carpet glued to the van.....plus they do look pukka. Cheers

Part number on wheel.

Finally got the wheels on the other day.
Opted for pirelli scorpian verdes in 255 40 20 103.
I dont think this is a placebo, but the road noise as been reduced a little more on the softer compound tyre. Still way quiter in standard guise than any caddy I have owned. And not really done much soind deadening inside as of yet.
Sourced a set of 60mm vw center caps from a seller online. They were from caps direct. They fit perfect and zero movement on them.
I was looking for a wheel bolt cap solution, but could not find any that would work on these wheels, so opted for some bimecc black wheel bolts and security bolts from elite tyres in rainham essex.
Same spec as the factory ones.
Cermaic coated wheels with my go to gtechniq c5. Did not bother with tyre dressing as the van needs a wash tbh.

Next job on the ride will be the suspension. Few other smaller mods on the horizon. Got a fee ideas from other builds on here.

Do you have a link to the non security black bolts?

Are they aging well?
