Had my van three weeks now and loving it.
I have found that the van was modified prior to purchase to convert it from a 3 seater start line to a six seater Kombi with the following work completed
Interior rear lined with carpet
Rear floor lined
Rear interior led lighting
Rear seating added 2+1
Sliding side windows added
Alloy wheels
Roof bars
Side bars
Front and rear spoilers
Front splitter
I am assuming as the front has had the original startline bumper removed and splitter added that the grille with the chrome trim is also new and not the original one. I assume therefore I can remove the chrome trim and replace with black trim and if my assumption is correct where can I get them from.
To complete the chrome removal, I want a black front and rear badge and black transporter lettering for the rear barn door, struggling to find lettering in the same style as is already on the van or a rear badge.
I also want to fit led headlights, I have changed the side repeaters and rear units for LED but now want the front matching. Need to find someone local in Staffordshire to do that job though as I think the bumper etc. needs to come off and I don’t think I would attempt that.
I thought of adding a couple of decals to the rear barn doors of fish in black what do you think.
Finally I want some seat covers but not really sure where is best to get good fitting ones.
That’s my modification list for now. I know this is not as extensive as most of you do, but this is not a camper van it is my vehicle for fishing.
