This is demonstration of just one (of many) amazing functions which come with @Daku's controller connected to Instrument Cluster CAN-BUS.

Basically when a mobile phone is connected to the vehicle OEM hands free kit the BLUETOOTH ICON is being constantly displayed at the bottom of IC display.
This icon is visible at all times and regardless of which menu is being currently viewed.

Small but very cool OEM alike add-on :cool:.

@Daku is working hard to implement full compatibility with PQ25 as his product has been originally developed for PQ35 and PQ46.
I will be disclosing more information in near future.
In the meantime some spoilers below :whistle:

how do this controller comunicate with the car? Is there a need to patch the mfa firmware?
Is it also working with an China Rns or do we need a original VW?
Do you have a link to the PQ35/46 Controllers?

No firmware/software modification to any existing controller is required.
This controller requires connection of 4 wires for its basic functionality:
[15] (ignition +12V DC)
GND
Instrument Cluster CAN-H
Instrument Cluster CAN-L
I will post installation photos later on.

PQ25 version is still undergoing development
but if you want to get PQ35/46 controller just send direct message to @Daku and he will look after you :)

@Daku's design/configuration allows to transmit BLUETOOTH ICON to IC from an OEM wireless kits which don't do that by default ( quo vadis VW o_O? )
I have no knowledge of your aftermarket head unit so can't confirm.
But for your convenience I can show you possible configuration for the BT icon, see below.

I dont need the bluetooth Icon but I need all the other datas displayed like DPF etc...
Will this work with aftermarket RNS?
 
For real time data, Audio menu is required.
Some non OE radio can create that menu.

As @Robert said, my module is created for PQ35/46.
@Robert and @dnoermann are first PQ25 testers.

Many internal messages are different or in different places.
Some messages can be unavailable.

That's why module is still in Beta version, at SW with D index - DEV

DPF Purging message didn't require any phone menu, module can " Generate " messages to show message as OE phone module.

so I need to install the cheapest OE radio behind my aftermarket RNS to have the Audio menu... :rolleyes:
