DAB & FM Fakra connectors for Alpine Halo

Hi
I'm trying to sort DAB out on my Halo 11 as my signal is terrible and want to remove the self adhesive glass aerial from view.
I've found my driver side wing mirror has an aerial in it which i believe is DAB and FM?

I have traced the cables back to the twin fakra connector shown in the picture. But I also have a single fakra connector on its own, as you can see next to it.
What adapter / cable do I need to use the wing mirror aerial?

Is there a way to dismantle the black plug without breaking it?

What’s the reason ?

The picture above shows a black fakra for dab but the insert has been removed from the back of the radio and stuck in the black socket, thus needs to be removed before a adapter will fit

I have gone from the standard 6 button headunit to the composition media unit with CarPlay from an 18plate vw sharan the plug on my van is smaller than the one on the sharan headunit I can’t find any adapter suitable but the guts of the black plug look the same

It’s the same plug , you have got a part of the old socket stuck in the socket

Wow!! I was 100%that this wasn’t the case but stripped it out again and THANKYOU your 100% right will explain why my dab was so poor on the kenwood and why I could never seem to get an adapter that actually fit.

Thanks again mate!! I was gobsmacked when I fished that little bit of plug from the socket 😜

I having the same issue with poor signal and having a look at my fakra plug which looks the same as yours. What did you actually remove from the plug? I've looked at it and cant see what is stuck in there?
