Cruise control warning and MFD not working? Linked?

My MFD is stuck on avg consumption and the cruise control symbol is on all the time with a warning symbol next to it. Don’t know if they are linked?

Is your cruise on a stalk or steering wheel buttons?

Could possibly be a fault on the stalk rather than the mfd. you need VCDS to diagnose the problem

Does anyone know how to reset/ restart the ACC. My 68 T6 had a flat battery, jump started Ok. Only the ACC hasnt kicked back on.
