What do you think is causing this? Creaking noise from one side when pressing the brake pedal.

Im not familiar with the revo setup but maybe something centred around the pad/pin spring tensioner thingy (if there is one ?)

Extremely unlikely but :
Stone jammed up the side of the piston ?
Calliper deflecting the disc to one side ?
Disc damaged/corroded/separating halves ?

Think i would get it jacked up and pop the wheel off for a good look around, if you need to the callipers only two bolts to remove then you can see the pads/pistons and also down properly into the disc etc

Hopefully its just a rusty pin or something

@BognorMotors do the revo kit, maybe they have experienced this before ?

Weird....

They look new, so assuming tight tolerance for now.

I'm going with thermal expansion and contraction.

Give it a week to bed in more and see if it's still doing it.

Thanks for the suggestions fellas. I'll get the wheel off and have a look over the weekend. They've been on over a year @Dellmassive so should be bedded in by now.

Yes I’ve had this before in one set. Revo themselves had never heard it. However we just loosened and re-torqued the bolts that hold the calliper on and the noise went.

HTH

Thanks Oli. You wouldn’t happen to know the torque setting would you?
