Planning on our first night stop soon and thinking of somewhere just off the A69, has anyone stayed near Corbridge or Hexham recently and used anywhere to recommend.
It's not Corbridge or Hexham but consider the Stephensons Arms site at Wylam. It's on the edge of the village which has about 5 pubs, a couple of shops and is right on the River Tyne. Plus it has a train station which will get you to Hexham and Corbridge.
