Southwest beachside campsites

Hi, we are looking for a campsite for a weeks stay, next (summer) in Devon or Cornwall that is alongside a nice beach, But, not up on a cliff and not a surfers beach, we want to swim or use our paddleboards, hence no big surf or carrying gear up and down a cliff, if there’s places to cycle to, without having to drive the van, even better

It's right on the beach, though I suspect a beach-front pitch will be pricey in high season (we were in the cheap seats).

We found the ground quite sandy (quelle surprise!) and it didn't hold standard tent pegs too well, so best to have some heavy duty, screw-in pegs available for any awning/tent you have.

just bear in mind they don't allow dogs if you have one.
