@Loz Great idea!

Your plug terminal 1J0 973 733 has a male counterpart 6 pin plug black which is 1J0 973 833.
The female terminals / male repair wires are: It is much cheaper to buy the terminals than the repair wires unless you are crap at crimping them to wires.

0.5mm 000 979 021 E Male counterpart 000 979 022 E (E signifies tin plated contacts)
0.5mm 000 979 021 EA Male counterpart 000 979 022 EA (EA signifies gold plated contacts)

1.0mm 000 979 133 E Male counterpart 000 979 134 E
1.0mm 000 979 133 EA Male counterpart 000 979 134 EA

2.5mm 000 979 225 E Male counterpart 000 979 226 E
2.5mm 000 979 225 EA Male counterpart 000 979 226 EA

Your plug terminal 8K0 973 702D has a male counterpart 2 pin black which is 1J0 973 802

0.5mm 000 979 025 E
0.5mm 000 979 025 EA
0.5mm 000 979 025 EC (EC signifies silver plated)
0.5mm 000 979 025 FA (FA signifies gold plated contacts with copper galvanised wires)

1.0mm 000 979 150 E
1.0mm 000 979 150 EA
1.0mm 000 979 150 EC

1.5mm 000 979 255 E

Your plug terminal 4F0 973 702 (do you mean fuel temperature sensor? Pressure sensor is a three pin plug). Male counterpart 5Q0 973 802

0.5mm 000 979 034 E/EA/EC Male counterpart 000 035 E/EA/EC

1.0mm 000 979 159 E/EA/EC Male counterpart 000 979 160 E/EA/EC

Think you need 1J0 919 309 B, BUT BEFORE ORDERING IT could you post the part number of the white plug to make sure, as the one I’ve found looks slightly different looking at it more carefully.

Any idea what the part number is for the horn plug? I’m trying to find a match for the horn side of it so I can make an adapter loom up to fit different horns without cutting the original plug off to do so.
All the ones I find are too small when they arrive, the horn plug seems to be much larger than necessary.

@Grim Reaper - The horn plug does not have a counterpart listed other than device on ETKA at all. They use the later type contact pins in this plug housing. Have you tried 1J0 973 802? This uses the earlier type pins, but the plug may be mechanically coded to not fit.

yes, these are smaller
as are 1J0 973 722's which appear to be exactly the same once they arrived

Any assistance appreciated in identifying the part number for the plug to this 4 pin switch? It's used in some VAG's for the tailgate release. I bought this one to wire in to my t6 but it came without the plug. Looks like the same plug might be used on the window switches? Cheers

Plugs are usually mechanically coded so it may look the same, but moulding could be different so may not be the same plug for a window switch.
In ETKA, the plug for the part number you posted is in the images along with the repair wires to fit the plug dependant on tin/gold contact and wire cross section.
PN ending E are tin
PN ending EA are gold plated contacts. Don’t mix tin wire with gold contact switch and vice versa.
They also do silver plated and copper for other applications.
Factory screwed up recently by sending cars out with the wrong plating to the in tank pressure sensor, was causing check engine light due to the mismatched contact resistance, the fix was fit either new sensor to match the car loom or fit correctly plated repair wires if sensor unavailable.

Any help appreciated - looking for part number/details of 2-wire connector fastened to battery earth terminal (current monitor?). Broken wire near connector means I need to change it. Soldering on a new connector would not be a problem. Thanks

Are these the same as Junior Power Timer (JPT) for use in the top centre (ignition live) of the lower dashboard fuse box / to hold a mini fuse / blade ?

000979021E

Also is the thickest wire you can have from ignition live 0.5mm or 1mm ? Or is there another 000979??? Terminal pins/connector part number to use for a thicker wire e.g 1.5mm ?

Thanks @Grim Reaper.

God knows why they have to make this so complicated :) I’ll have a go at explaining my confusion in the hope the more enlightened can help ..

Extracting that data from the link previously shared, for ease of use.. (Interesting I found out for the suffixes A = Gold plated, B = High temperature, AB = both)

2.8mm terminals - ATM fuse (small fuses)

000 979 021 : 0.5mm wire 000979021)
000 979 133 : 1.0mm wire (000979133)
000 979 225 : 2.5mm wire (000979225)

4.8mm terminals - ATO fuse (large fuses)

000 979 023 : 0.5mm wire (000979023)
000 979 135 : 1.0mm wire (000979135)
000 979 227 : 2.5mm wire (000979227)
000 979 306 : 4.0mm wire

Right, here’s my confusion, when I look up 000 979 133 online (link below ) it says it’s for 0.35mm to 1mm?

And then if I look up 000 979 021 elsewhere I’ve seen it quoted as supporting 0.5mm to 1.0mm (even as high as 1.5mm)? So, am I correct in saying the part numbers above are for the connector AND the size of wire that’s provided with it?

If so, how do I find the part number for just the terminal connector itself (Irrespective and seperate from the wire/cable width that might come with it ?)

I was expecting a specific terminal connector part number would support a range of wire sizes?

For info - this is the 12 pin loom connector on the Webasto Thermo Top Evo water heater.

Usually the terminal will have a suffix of -1, -2, -3, -4, -5 denoting the wire size. Check the datasheet for the connector that you are using.
eg this connector that I have had to get the terminals for:
