My parents have recently purchased a T6.1 Cali Ocean. We have a T6 Kombi with a Reimo awning rail.
Since the doors are on the opposing side, in my head I've got the idea it should be possible for us to park facing the same direction and attach their wind-out awning to our Reimo rail using a driveway awning kit, and attaching pipe insulation to the legs (to protect paintwork on our van), to provide an uninterrupted shelter between the two vehicles.
What's the consensus, would this work? Even if it does, I guess it may be a dry weather solution only, since the fall will not be great to allow run-off. Also, the occasions may be limited due to what's allowed when on a pitch.
