Cleaning an Ovano (phenolic ply)

I’ve tried to wipe the surface of my Ovano unit a few times now.
Diluted Flash (feel free to sing the song) and later water.
It seems to not like getting wet and colours any cloth with some sort of brownish yellow dye.
Anyone else found this problem ?

I would ask Ovano what to clean it with before any lasting damage is done.

I would think anything without water and with silicone, water and wood generally isn’t a good idea.

The ovano uses birch Phenolic ply. It's not 100% waterproof, but the phenolic resin bonding makes it highly water-resistant, that's why it's often referred to as waterproof plywood phenolic, suitable for tough outdoor or damp applications.
It’s also on my tower staging boards with I leave outside and have never rotted in the 20 years I’ve own them. Tough stuff! Very expensive now per sheet 😖

Providing it's the real deal there's plenty of cheaper look alikes out there that dont sealing the edges is the most important thing

I just use Mr Sheen or any multi surface cleaner it's fine or a spray with some wd40
