Change of ownership form

Having owned my van for a couple of months now. (21 plate T6.1) I was at a loose end and got out the handbook pack for a read.
Imagine my horror when I also pulled out the Roadside Assistance booklet and discovered the change of ownership form on the last page.

Yup, you guessed it. Up to now, I assume Volkswagen have completely no idea I own one of their vans!!!

Is there an online form you can fill out or do you have to go old school and fill out the form and post it?

The vans covered for 36mnth from 1st reg.... However owns it.

As far as I'm aware the first owner was the company that did the conversion.
What concerns me is the recall issues. I assume VW won't have a clue that it's me who owns the van, hence I'll get no notifications?

You can check for outstanding safety recalls on the DVLA site

You can call VW with you reg and ask them what's outstanding.

Assuming there's no online form on the VW website I guess I'll have to register my ownership via the old postage stamp method then.

You can but I doubt it'll be useful for anything other than VW sending you a load of marketing shite.
