yes with VCDS,
@Pauly mentioned the other day it can be set to have the DRL off when the handbrake is applied.
i havent seen the coding myself yet, but the adjustment will be in the headlights module?

This is where it gets a bit beyond me when you are going into the code as I have no setup for it.
Good it can be set to turn off with the handbrake, would be even better if it could be done with the actual lights module when turned to “0”.
Can any of you guys figure this one out if its even possible, or tag in someone who may know.

It's unlikely that there would be an option for this as DRL lights when traveling are a requirement for type approval.@Fish

I’d love to get into the coding for all of this...
Surly there must be a way to have “auto” “side” and “main” work as they usually do thus DRL lights will work when travelling.
I (like a lot of others) have the lights module below in pic and it would be great if ‘0’ stood for ‘off’
Good point. But I’m just thinking if I pull up in traffic and put my handbrake on my lights go off?

but playing with Carista yesterday to get the LARGE MPG up again.
region set to AUS and large MPH enabled. - all ok
but,
but when i went to lights - the option was to turn DRL OFF or ON !
i gave it a go and sure enough the DRL`s (factory fit LED) were either off or on.
so not sure about the off/on/handbrake thing?
unless its a region locked thing for Europe?
it seemed yesterday that the setting was black & white . . . . . literally. =]
