Button for parking sensors

in my previous motor, i had a button to silence the parking sensors. well it turned them off.

I've got a duff sensor (constantly on) and until i get chance to fix it, im feeling the pain of the noise for the ten seconds or so until the sensors turn off after you swap back into first.

which brought to mind the button in my BM. i can't see one in my T6, but is it possible to wire one in at all?

I've just found another thread where some vans do have a P button. so i now need to know if i can retro fit it.

on mine the silence option appears on the radio screen

Top right corner of screen for mine, I know cos I back it within 6 inches of the boundary wall and I keep jumping out to see how far to go after the lines go red

I do exactly the same mate.... the neighbours must think I’m OCD mad! (I am a bit!)
