Seems this all went quiet after Christmas folks or am I missing an alternate thread.... the Swam*205 code doesn't work today - can anyone tell me if there is a new one?
Managed to talk the wife into us attending this for the weekend after showing her the website. Just checking what it like for people who have been with kids before? Mine will be 9 and 5, Plenty to keep them entertained with during the day? Obviously no plans to take them raving at night. Never been before as only had the van a year, last music festive I went to was many years ago in my 20s definitely wasn't child friendly from the little that I remember of it
Just booked our tickets for this year
Club camping for two adults £170
I think they still need to make the booking system make more sense, anyway all done

Me and my two boys (then aged 11 and 9) went last year - our first “meet”
Busfest is definitely child-friendly and the forum camping area is particularly good for kids - no worries about where they are etc. There are lots of fun rides etc for them and plenty of security onsite.
(SWMBO elected to stay home with the dogs as the rain was so bad that week!)

I'll jump in, too. Stacks to do for kids. Never a dull moment. Face painting, fun fair, exotic animals, crafts, ... in addition to the bands, food and vans. Third year for our family, with children of 6 and 11 now.
Can't wait! - I'm taking my mum this year and she's asked about hot showers, something i'd normally not be that bothered about but thought i'd ask on here. Has anyone used them? What are they like?

Of the years we did manage to use the on site showers we were most successful using the block nearest to general camping as there were more cubicles.
Saying that you need to get to either this block or the one by the showmans sheds ie the stages and retailers area before 7:00 am as there's less showers at the retail area and the retailers day starts earlier than us lots.
Typically the retail area showers are right by the T6 Forum camping but you have to get a wiggle on, the general camping block is miles away, our last stay and we took it in turns to do the bog run and then stand guard while the other has a strip wash in the camper.
