Boost whistle and injectors

Have a very mild whistle at low revs when pulling away sounds like a boost pipe leak except it’s quite quiet disappearing as the power increases I’ve stripped the charge cooler out and inspected all hoses back to the turbo can’t find anything to be honest. The airfilter was a bit mucky but not too bad have replaced that. Any other things to check before it goes back together?

Have found a small amount of oil around 1 and 2 injectiors in hoping that’s spillage from the filler anyone got any other suggestions?

You say the noise is when pulling away, is that the only time? If so, I doubt there is a boost leak.

Your oil leak, is it black oil? It looks like it is, so probably leaking from the seals around the injectors.

Yeah black oil a bit round #1 and. Touch more round#2 it does have a bit of an injector tick when it’s cold but when it warms it disappears. I checked values on VCDS nothing looked out of the ordinary.

I have a whistle when reversing/ crawling in traffic at low revs.. did you resolve your issue?
Engine is the 204 (i know ). There is no power loss etc and I've checked the pipes i can see going to the intercooler.. At a loose end now

rear EGR pipe maybe? - are you getting exhaust smells?

mines just gone . . . well its been leaking for a while. MY18 204 DSG 36k miles. (within warranty - just)

The AA guy failing to diagnose it. (VW Assist callout, asked for VW guy but got the yellow van guy =[ )

Thanks for your reply mukka, i will grab a clip when i pull on the drive later on, it only happens when the engine is warm. There are no smells that im aware of
