A bit of a random one ...

We are hoping to attend the Bideford Soap Box Derby on June 18th this year. We're currently looking at accommodation option (any suggestions on these would be most appreciated), but do any locals have any suggestions as to where to park close to the event?

There is a car park right on the river, short & long stay.
the car park entrance is on a bend as you approach the town see Mark up

Toilets at end of car park - you can park for 24hours if required
